Purpose of the Site

Watonwan County Released Inmates is a private reference resource. It is not part of Watonwan County government, the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, the Watonwan County Jail, Minnesota Department of Corrections, Watonwan County Probation, or any federal custody agency. It does not hold official records, confirm whether a person is in custody, cause a release, submit a records request, or file papers with a court or agency.

The site points visitors toward public record sources and custody tools. Those may include the county jail and records process, Minnesota VINE, Minnesota DOC searches, court access, and federal locators. Some information is governed by the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, but the agency that creates or maintains a record decides access under applicable law. Third-party research tools may also appear. Their services remain separate from this site.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is allowed only for lawful, respectful use. By using Watonwan County Released Inmates, you agree that you will not:

• Use the site or its information to violate any local, Minnesota, federal, or other applicable law.
• Use information found through the site to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm another person.

Watonwan County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not create or supply background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use information obtained here or through linked tools for a decision governed by the FCRA.

Prohibited FCRA-covered uses include:

• Deciding whether to hire, retain, promote, discipline, or dismiss a worker.
• Evaluating a tenant, rental applicant, lease, or other housing request.
• Assessing creditworthiness, a loan, an account, or an insurance premium.
• Determining eligibility for a license, permit, benefit, or government program when the FCRA applies.
• Making any other eligibility decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Outside Websites

Links may lead to Watonwan County release and jail resources, the Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota corrections and court portals, legal-aid material, federal locators, or independent search providers. A link does not mean that Watonwan County Released Inmates endorses the outside operator. The site does not control an external service’s content, accuracy, data practices, terms, cost, security, or availability. Service Provided As Is

The site, its text, and its features are supplied “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

Nothing published here is an official statement by the Watonwan County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota DOC, a court, or another government agency. Confirm material facts with the office that created the record.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Watonwan County Released Inmates and its owners, contributors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from access to, inability to use, or reliance on the site or an outside resource. This limit applies even if the possibility of such loss was known. Any protection that cannot lawfully be excluded remains in effect only to the extent required by law.

Access May Be Revoked

Minnesota Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that must be filed in court shall be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction within Minnesota, unless applicable law requires a different place or process.

Terms Remain Severable

If a court finds one provision invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in force. The affected provision will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its intended effect where the law allows.
